# Regarding Discord.Py

So, the author of Discord.Py has just announced they will continue development of Discord.Py

What will Wynter be doing regarding this?

We (or should I say I, it's a team of 1) will be sticking on PyCord at this time. \
\
We feel it has more features and is better maintained at this current time. Especially with having official support for Discord's Timeout library, buttons & more.

Should there be a position in the future where Discord.Py has more benefits than PyCord, we may consider switching.
