Regarding Discord.Py

Official Statement as of 6th Feburary 2022

So, the author of Discord.Py has just announced they will continue development of Discord.Py

What will Wynter be doing regarding this?

We (or should I say I, it's a team of 1) will be sticking on PyCord at this time. We feel it has more features and is better maintained at this current time. Especially with having official support for Discord's Timeout library, buttons & more.

Should there be a position in the future where Discord.Py has more benefits than PyCord, we may consider switching.
